"PICASSO II"

Picasso II
The fine sinuous lines outline a group of unique expressive profiles. Each character is day-dreaming, oblivious of the others’ presence in spite of close proximity. These charismatic biomorphic shapes float on a field of azure along with the diffuse bold patches of yellow, brown, and navy-blue. These wavy layers of color resemble polished Fordite. They look like fluid brushstrokes and make one believe they are in front of a painting. Hold your breath! For this is an unaltered photograph of boat reflection on the water at the Monterey Wharf.
"Liquid Fordite" series.
Fordite is also known as Detroit agate. Fordite is old automotive paint which has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. In recent times the material has been recycled into jewelry.
